137 East 1st Street in Salida, Colorado was our first commercial property investment in the state. Salida—an increasingly popular historic mountain town—boasts the largest concentration of preserved historic buildings of any downtown in Colorado, making it a standout location with strong long-term potential. The property sits along the main corridor of downtown and was purchased from a retiring restaurant owner. After renovating the building, we brought in a well-known sushi bar and restaurant operator to introduce a much-needed new dining option to the community. The upper level was transformed into a full-floor, one-bedroom loft that now serves as both a full-service short-term rental and a long-term corporate rental.
